The Ulys wallet is non-custodial, meaning you own your crypto and Ulys never holds it. Your private key is split into two encrypted pieces and stored inside tamper-proof hardware enclaves by our wallet security provider. When you authorize a transaction through the AI, your key only exists in whole form for the brief moment the transaction is being signed, inside secure hardware, and only because you approved it.
Your wallet is tied to your identity, not your device. If you ever lose your phone or get a new one, simply log back in and your wallet will be right where you left it. There is nothing to write down or back up.
