When you place a Smart Order, the funds for it are set aside straight away — not when the order triggers.
That means the amount is no longer available to spend on anything else while the order is open. Your funds haven't gone anywhere: they're committed to that order until it triggers or you cancel it.
Cancel the order in the Actions tab and the funds are free again.
